At Master Pools of Wilmington, we have over a decade of experience in the pool industry, and we are committed to providing the excellent results you deserve. We design and install many types of pools, and we have put together this brief guide to go over the options we offer.
The types of pools we design include:
- Fiberglass – One of our most popular options is our fiberglass pools. Fiberglass pools are highly durable and require very little maintenance over their lifetimes. They also have shorter installation times than other options, with an average total time of just six weeks. The tradeoff is that because fiberglass pools are manufactured offsite, they are somewhat limited in their range of design options.
- Vinyl – We design and install vinyl pools. Vinyl pools usually have lower installation costs than other options, but they require more frequent maintenance over time, as you will need to replace the liner every six to ten years. Another benefit of vinyl pools is their wide range of design options, as the vinyl walls are modular and can be rearranged in nearly any configuration you like.
- Concrete – The third type of pool we design is concrete pools. These pools offer the most flexibility in design, as we can modify the plans to include things like tanning ledges and more. Concrete is also the most durable material for pools, with an expected lifespan of 25-30 years. On the other hand, concrete does have the highest upfront costs of the three options, so you will need to budget for that.
